Meet Fifi… and yes, let’s be honest - she’s not exactly the prettiest cat you’ve ever seen 
But that’s exactly what makes her special.
This rare antique Einco Kiddieland “Fifi the Cat” dates back to 1911–1914, making her well over a century old. With her black mohair (now a little thin in places), quirky green and black googly glass eyes (one slightly loose and cracked), and that unmistakable red zig-zag stitched smile, Fifi has a charm that only time can create.She’s got character in every detail:
• Black stitched nose with red nostrils
• Monofilament whiskers (a bit sparse these days!)
• Silk bow tie with bell still attached
Standing at just 6 inches tall, she’s unjointed, excelsior-filled, and full of history—even if her squeaker no longer works.
Originally part of the Kiddieland line by Eisenmann & Co. (alongside Tubby the Dog), Fifi represents an era where toys weren’t perfect—they were handmade, expressive, and built to be loved.
So no… she’s not perfect.
But she’s real, rare, and beautifully imperfect.
